SPRING/SUMMER 2011 SONGWRITER'S CONTEST

Contest Rules Revel Records hosts a bi-annual Songwriter Contest for West Coast Musicians. For the Spring/Summer 2011 Contest, the winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to Best Buy and will be featured on our home page from March - Aug 2011. The top ten artists will receive a written critique of their song by the staff at Revel Records and will be added to the Revel Records ReverbNation account. Songs must be original and performed by the writer. All genres are accepted. See our home page for examples of previous winners. Submission Dates: September 30 - December 30, 2011 Requirements: Open to artists from the West Coast Region. Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California, Nevada. Must be an original song performed by the writer. Please for your own protection, only send songs that have a copyright. While we promise not to steal your songs, you should always be protected!!! Song must be 5 minutes or less in mp3 format. No physical CD's will be accepted. We will send confirmation that we have received your submission, however, we will not be able to respond to further inquiries. Revel Records will post the top ten winners at the end of February 2011.
